We have set new ambitions to contribute to protecting and regenerating biodiversity, backed by specific 2030 targets. To support this direction, we have renewed our standard trajectory, ensuring our purpose continues to guide us toward meaningful impact.
In line with our commitment to people, our 2025 inclusion and wellbeing targets have been brought together into one encompassing target for 2030. This integrated approach reinforces inclusion and wellbeing for all, helping us create a workplace where everyone can thrive.
Introducing the purpose ambitions of Givaudan’s 2030 strategy

Addressing climate remains a central part of our journey. We have further strengthened our climate targets to align with the SBTi Net-Zero Standard trajectory, reaffirming our determination to reach zero emissions across our value chain.
Alongside this, we have renewed our standard trajectory and our 2025 safety target with a new ambition for 2035, where we will reduce our recordable case rate by 50%, continuing to raise the bar for a safe working environment.
Our focus reset
Our creation target is now fully integrated into our 2030 financial ambitions, ensuring that purpose and performance move forward together.
While we remain committed to achieving 100% plastic circularity by 2030, this target will not be part of our purpose targets anymore. We will no longer have a high growth market leaders target, in line with our commitment to inclusion in a broader sense. We have renewed our 2025 safety target with a new ambition for 2035. Our creation target is now fully integrated in our 2030 financial ambitions.
Together, these updates represent a clear focus reset – one that ensures our energy and resources are concentrated where we can make the greatest positive impact: on biodiversity, climate, safety, wellbeing and inclusive growth for a sustainable future.
