Natural weight management

Weight management and obesity are, for example, increasingly important global health issues, and many consumers are looking for solutions that can help them manage their weight. In 2021, 21% of Asia Pacific consumers said they had used an over-the-counter nutritional supplement to lose weight, 35% of LATAM consumers wanted to lose or maintain their weight, and 43% of Generation X consumers in the US said they were prioritising their health and wellbeing to manage their weight.¹³

Our ingredient Svetol™ is a natural extract of green coffee beans that has been clinically shown to support weight management by reducing body mass index and improving lean-to-fat-mass ratio¹, benefits that have been demonstrated in multiple studies.¹²³

This evidence led to the ingredient being awarded two health claims from Health Canada, one for weight management and one for cardiovascular health.5

Addressing menopausal symptoms with a 100% natural solution

Every year, millions of women enter menopause and the associated natural hormonal changes can impact a woman’s mental and physical health. Menopausal symptoms such as difficulty sleeping, night sweats, hot flashes and loss of bone mass. largely caused by a decline in the main type of oestrogen in the human body⁴ – can have a significant, negative impact on quality of life.

Around 75% of women in the US are affected by hot flashes and night sweats, while 45% suffer from psychogenic symptoms such as disturbed sleep.⁴ Low oestrogen levels are also the primary cause of postmenopausal bone loss, because oestrogen is the main hormonal regulator of bone metabolism. As women live longer, some women will spend up to 40% of their lives in this post-menopausal stage.⁴

Clinical research shows that our natural hop extract Lifenol™ addresses women’s menopausal symptoms with a 100% natural solution.²³

It has been proven to relieve distressing menopausal symptoms such as hot flashes and sleep problems in two separate studies²³  and it has also been shown to support bone health.³
